Privacy policy
Plain Gym and every other Plain app · Effective 29 September 2026
Plain apps collect no personal data. There are no ads, no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Nothing you enter leaves your device unless you send it somewhere yourself.
Who we are
Plain apps are made by Fri3dChicken, an independent developer in Australia. Contact: fri3dchicken.dev@outlook.com
What stays on your device
Everything you enter in Plain Gym (workouts, sets, exercises, folders and settings) is stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. We never receive it, and neither does anyone else. The Android app doesn't request internet access, so it can't send your data anywhere.
When you move data yourself
- Backup. "Back up now" creates a file and opens your phone's share sheet. You choose where it goes (for example Google Drive or email), and that service's privacy policy applies to the copy you send.
- Restore. The app reads only the backup file you pick.
- Share. Sharing a workout sends its text to the app you choose.
Tips
Plain Gym offers an optional tip. The payment is handled entirely by Google Play, or by Apple on iPhone. We never see your card or bank details. Google gives us standard sales records for each tip, such as the date, amount and country, which we use only for tax and accounting.
Children
Plain apps aren't directed at children under 13, and they collect no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
